WHY ARE WE HERE?
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
WHO ARE WE?

The five + one members of The Jumpmen are a force for change
in the universe of do-it-yourself sketch comedy.

For entirely too long, the general perception of sketch comedy has been a series of unrelated scenes,
often deriving its laughter from topical parodies or inecessantly recurring one-joke characters.

We believe that sketch comedy is capable of much more, and to that end,
we have taken a sacred vow and banded together under the banner of mirth to sweep the
plague of comedic tedium from America, and, indeed, from the entire world.

Truly, this is a lofty goal, and one for which we are definitely not up to the challenge.

This has not stopped us, however, from relentlessly forging ahead through the tempestuous
oceans of hilarity, rescuing castaways from the good ship Ennui wherever we go.

Wow, did I really just type something that lame? Crap.

In any case, each of us has our own idealized perfect sketch comedy show,
forming the root system of our jocularitree:

The State.
Kids in the Hall.
Monty Python's Flying Circus.
Exit 57.
Exit 57?
And, of course, Almost Live.

Sure, nobody actually liked Almost Live all that much, but this proves we have the gumption to put a
list of five shows here, as though each of us actually has a favorite. Even though I bet everyone else
just likes The State the most. Everyone hates me. Why do you guys not like me? :(
